Waimea Women’s Center at North Hawaii Community Hospital (NHCH) offers a full spectrum of services for women through every stage of life.
The mission of the Waimea Women’s Center is in harmony with NHCH’s mission: "to improve the health status of North Hawaii by improving access to care and providing high-quality services at a reasonable cost."
Waimea Women’s Center provides midwifery obstetric and gynecologic care for women of all ages and lifestyles with an emphasis on education and the combination of traditional and alternative medicine.

MATERNAL CARE POLICY
Effective April 2, 2013, NHCH's Waimea Women's Center is accepting island-wide maternal care patients on a space available basis. The Waimea Women’s Center has the capacity to accept 40 maternal care patients each month based on patient due dates.
The Women's Center will continue to offer maternal care services to women whose primary address is within our hosptial's Hawaii County Emergency Medical Response zone, which is roughly the area north of a line from Laupahoehoe across the Saddle to Kukio in North Konagive preference to maternal care patients from within our service area.
NHCH’s Waimea Women’s Center will also continue to accept all new gynecological patients from around the island since this service is not at capacity.

Waimea Women’s Center functions as a team with OB/Gyn Physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners to meet your health care needs. Having the right staff members who are truly passionate about what they do makes all the difference at the Waimea Women’s Center.
All providers are committed to providing their time, knowledge and support during each visit because we believe in the importance of each interaction in the healing process. Your provider will take the time to listen and assist you with your questions and concerns and is committed to helping you achieve your health goals.
