Staff members from throughout the hospital joined our Cardiology Clinic on National GO RED Day on Friday, February 2, to help bring awareness to women’s heart health.

Cardiovascular disease kills approximately one woman every 80 seconds, making it the #1 killer of women in the US. The good news is that 80 percent of cardiac events may be prevented with education and lifestyle changes.

If you have questions about your heart health or that of a loved one, contact your health care provider or the Cardiology Clinic at North Hawaii Health & Wellness at 881-4658. Dr. Karl Moon and Kristi Yearout, APRN-RX, and their team welcome patients from thoughout the island!
