New Nuclear Medicine Camera

A new, state-of-the-art nuclear imaging camera has arrived at North Hawai'i Community Hospital, providing superior image quality and exceptional anatomical coverage.

The new Siemens Symbia EVO dual-head camera can accommodate a broad spectrum of patients including those who have difficulty moving, are larger in size, or are critically ill.

The new camera's shorter acquisition time means less patient discomfort, and patients can be imaged while on gurneys or in hospital beds, avoiding the discomfort of extra moves. The new camera is particularly beneficial for tumor localization and bone imaging.

We are committed to providing patients with the optimum imaging experience. Our dedication to quality is further enhanced through image interpretation provided by world class, board-certified Cleveland Clinic radiologists.
