HOSPITAL CONDUCTS HAZMAT DISASTER DRILL

North Hawaii Community Hospital recently became the scene of a simulated hazardous materials spill. The disaster drill allowed staff to practice setting up the decontamination tent and, thanks to some brave volunteers, take four “patients” through the actual decontamination process including full showering. The hospital regularly conducts disaster drills to ensure that is it always ready to care for the community!
