New Primary Care Walk-In Clinic Hours
Posted on Thursday, October 17, 2013

Kaheleaulani, a Native Hawaiian Health Program, and Adult and Family Medicine Clinics announce new “walk-in” clinic hours every Friday afternoon, starting October 18th, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  No appointment necessary.

“We are excited to offer patients the opportunity to receive primary care services Friday afternoons without an appointment,” says Dr. Leina’ala Crawford, Medical Director and Primary Care Physician for Kaheleaulani and Adult and Family Medicine. “Our new Friday afternoon walk-in clinics are designed to offer patients more convenience, especially for those who feel like they are getting sick before the weekend.” Kaheleaulani and Adult and Family Medicine walk-in clinics provide primary care services, vaccinations, wellness services and physicals.

Kaheleaulani, formerly known as the Native Hawaiian Health Clinic, opened in September 2011 and is accepting patients with a target population of Native Hawaiians of all ages, non-Hawaiians who are married to a Native Hawaiian or are a life partner of a Native Hawaiian, non-Hawaiians who are widowed and whose spouse was a Native Hawaiian, and non-Hawaiians who are divorced or separated from a Native Hawaiian and have Native Hawaiian children. Adult and Family Medicine, which opened in March 2012, is also accepting patients and offers primary care services to those 13 years old and older.

Kaheleaulani and Adult and Family Medicine are both located within our hospital at 67-1125 Mamalahoa Highway, Kamuela, HI 96743.  For more information about Kaheleaulani or Adult and Family Medicine, please call 808-881-4843.
