NHCH Partners with KAPA Radio's "Support The Keiki"

Every year thousands of Hawai‘i Island keiki start a new school year without the necessary school supplies needed.  This year, NHCH is a proud sponsor of KAPA Radio and Hawai‘i Island United Way’s “Support the Keiki” back to school drive.

NHCH not only helped sponsor KAPA Radio and Hawaii Island United Way's "Spport the Keiki" back to school drive, but hospital employees and volunteers also donated over $250 worth of needed school supplies.

Instead of their first day of school being one of excitement and enthusiasm, often kids are embarrassed or ashamed because they lack the proper school supplies and tools needed to be successful.  That’s why NHCH partnered with KAPA Radio and Hawai‘i Island United Way’s “Support the Keiki” to help raise awareness and needed school supplies for Hawai‘i Island keiki.

KAPA Radio, Hawai‘i Island United Way and other community partners will deliver school supplies to Hawai‘i Island schools with the greatest need during the first week of August.
